Hailing from Oakland, California,  Paul Shinichi has been professionally piercing for over 20 years. This California native honed his craft at the renowned piercing and tattoo studio Braindrops in San Francisco. Paul has a true love for jewelry and in 2014 he co-founded the body jewelry brand Tether Jewelry with an emphasis on genderless jewelry design. 

Paul relocated to Denver in 2021 and found himself a perfect home at Sol tribe. When Paul isn’t piercing he’s usually climbing a mountain, cooking a delicious meal at home, or producing vibey music under his artist name ‘Gilded Ghost’.
